Science
Tuesdays - Students will become scientists as they design and conduct their own experiments using the scientific method. This STEM-based class culminates in an exciting science fair where students present their discoveries.
Thursdays - Students will explore the ecosystems of the Southwest and engage in hands-on learning about conservation challenges and solutions within our community. Together, we’ll engineer real-world conservation projects to make a lasting impact. -
Language Arts
Tuesdays - Our book club invites students to explore captivating stories, engage in creative discussions, practice journaling, and create hands-on projects inspired by their reading.
Thursdays - Students will develop their writing skills in different styles—from poetry and how-to guides to scripts and personal letters. The class will guide students toward a creative passion project, allowing them to express their voice in unique ways. -
History
Tuesdays - Our history curriculum focuses on the Southwest’s rich culture and heritage, with a special emphasis on local Arizona history and indigenous peoples. Through hands-on projects and creative exploration, students will also investigate and discover their own family history, connecting the past to their personal stories.

Art
Thursdays - Get creative and express yourself! In this mixed media art class students will explore a variety of materials and techniques while experimenting, playing, and discovering their unique artistic style. With a sprinkle of social emotional learning (SEL) they’ll build confidence, connect with their emotions, and create meaningful one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
